SMS Terms & Conditions — Rig-Zone Academy

These terms govern the SMS text messaging program operated by Rig-Zone Academy, LLC (“RIG-ZONE Academy,” “we,” “us”), an NCCER-accredited assessment center located at Northwest Evangeline Thruway H2, Lafayette, LA 70520.
1. Program Description
By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive SMS messages from RIG-ZONE Academy sent from (337) 270-0453 regarding: account notifications; customer care communications; booking confirmations and class reminders; class scheduling changes, cancellations, and exam logistics; course material availability; certification and credential updates; and occasional promotional offers related to our NCCER-accredited training programs (promotional messages are sent only if you have provided consent).
2. Consent
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any course or service. You opt in by affirmatively checking an unchecked-by-default SMS consent box during online enrollment at rigzoneacademy.com/booking.html. Your consent applies only to RIG-ZONE Academy; we do not obtain or use SMS consent on behalf of any other party.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and enrollment status. You may receive up to 4 messages per month.
4. Fees
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. RIG-ZONE Academy does not charge for text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Opting Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation of your unsubscription, after which no further non-transactional messages will be sent. You may re-subscribe at any time by replying START.

Our SMS program is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older located in the United States.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
